ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli, in S.C.No.279 of 2019, dated 05/07/2023 and to enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the criminal appeal.

2.The petitioner stands convicted and sentenced as under:- Section of Law Sentence of imprisonment Fine amount 302 IPC Life Imprisonment Rs.1,000/-, in default to undergo 1 month SI 3.No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials available on record. 4.Perusal of the records, the petitioner has failed to make out a prima facie case for grant of suspension of sentence, hence we are of the opinion that it is not a fit case for grant of suspension of sentence to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
