O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.216 of 2012, dated 21.08.2012.

2. According to the petitioner, he has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 323 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code. On 21.08.2012, based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.216 of 2012. Even though, the case was registered in the month of August, 2012, investigation has not yet been completed.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the respondent has commenced the investigation and he will complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of two weeks, before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
