ORDER

The petitioner has filed a revision petition before the first respondent/the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangi, under the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, in the year 2016. Since the said revision petition has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by her within a reasonable time.

2. Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the first respondent, submits that a notice for enquiry was issued on 13.08.2018 and both the parties have also appeared for the enquiry. However, he has to get instructions from the first respondent as to the stage of the enquiry. 2/4

Considering that the revision petition filed by the petitioner in the year 2016 is still pending before the first respondent, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision petition within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
