This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for carrying out his work as Hereditary Trustee and Poosari of Arulmigu Pidari Madurakaliamman and Mariamman temple at Sriramasamuthiram, Thottiyam at Trichy District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 29.07.2022. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the respondent police has received the petitioner's representation, dated 29.07.2022 and the same is pending for enquiry. 3.In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry upon the petitioner's representation, dated 29.07.2022 and to take 2/4

suitable action on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
