ORDER
The petitioner has submitted an application dated 11.05.2022 to the respondents 1 and 2 for surveying his land situated in S.No. 1497/1C1 at Ayyampalayam Village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District. Since the respondents have not acted upon the same, he filed this writ petition.
2. Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that based on the petitioner's application, notice has been issued to all neighbouring land owners on 30.06.2022. Since the 4th respondent has raised certain objections, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent Police on 2/4
20.07.2022. Based on the said complaint, the third respondent has conducted an enquiry. During the enquiry, the petitioner has given an undertaking that he would amicably resolve the issue with the 4th respondent and based on this undertaking, the respondents have not proceeded with the survey.
3. It appears that the 4th respondent has raised certain objections. Therefore, the second respondent shall issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, including the 4th respondent under Section 10(1) of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and complete the survey process, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
