O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

2. The petitioner is a resident of Alangudi. He alleges that survey No.148 is a water body which has been encroached by the fourth respondent. He wants them to be removed.

3. When the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that survey notice has already been issued and survey is proposed to be held on 08.08.2025. 2/4

4. The second respondent is directed to issue notice to the private respondent and other encroachers if any, conduct survey and if the encroachments are noticed, then by adhering to due process of law, the encroachments shall be removed. The entire exercise will be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
