consequently considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2021 with a time frame fixed by this court.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to issue patta for agricultural land situate in S.No.128/1 with an extent of 1 acres and 58 cents, situated in Okkarai village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2021.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Mohammed Kasim, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

3. According to the petitioner, the above subject property was purchased by the petitioner's mother Parvathiammal under a sale deed 2/6

dated 25.08.1973. The petitioner's mother died leaving behind the petitioner and his sister Pushpa and his brother Chelladurai. According to the petitioner he has been in possession and enjoyment of the said property for the post 48 years and his siblings have no objection for issuance of patta in his name. Therefore, he submitted a representation before the 4th respondent on 05.08.2021 seeking issuance of patta in his name. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court seeking above mentioned direction.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the representation will be considered on its own merits within the time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2021 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the petitioner and his siblings viz., above mentioned Pushpa and Chelladurai, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, 3/6

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
