ORDER

The father-in-law of the respondent filed this quash petition to quash the D.V.O.P.No.13 of 2020 on the file of the Additional Mahila Judge, Nagercoil, filed by his daugher-in-law/respondent.

2. As per the Hon'ble Full Bench judgment in Arul Daniel Vs. Suganya reported in 2022 4 MLJ (Crl) 561, the petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash DVOP proceedings is not maintainable.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate petition before the appropriate forum in terms of the above Honourable Full Bench Judgment. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
