(Crime No.7 of 2025).

... Respondent/Complainant For Petitioner : Mr.S.Mahendrapathy Advocate.

For Respondent : Mr.S.Prakash Government Advocate (Crl.Side) Petition for Extension of Time Under Sec.528 of BNSS PRAYER :- To extend the time to comply the order made in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5151 of 2025 dated 20.03.2025.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This petition has been filed for extension of time for compliance of the conditional order passed in Crl.O.P(MD).No.5151 of 2025 dated 20.03.2025.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Hon'ble Court passed an order in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5151 of 2025 dated 20.03.2025 and this Hon'ble Court enlarged the petitioner on anticipatory bail. In the FIR in Crime No.7 of 2025, the petitioner's name was wrongly mentioned as Yogarajan instead of Selvam. Hence, the petitioner filed an amendment petition in Crl.M.P.(MD).No.6350 of 2025 to amend his name as Yogarajan @ Selvam and the same was ordered on 02.06.2025. Therefore, the petitioner is not in a position to mobilize the fund and unable to execute the sureties within the stipulated time as imposed by this Hon'ble Court. For the said reason only, he is unable to comply the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5151 of 2025 dated 20.03.2025. Hence, he prayed to extend the time period, by allowing this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent has not raised any objection to allow this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition. 2/4

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and being satisfied with the reasons stated above, this Court is inclined to extend the time period. Accordingly, further period of two weeks is granted from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Sd/- 07/07/2025 // True Copy // / /2025 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai.
