Respondents Prayer :- Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to Direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2019 and file final report in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Hon`ble Court and thus render justice.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and earlier orders of this court and upon perusing the Letter submitted by the Inspector of Police, Anti-Land Grabbing Special Cell, Tiruchy District, vide his letter in C.No.193/DSP/ALGSC/TRI/2021, dated 08/04/2021, seeking 6 months extension of time to complete the investigation and file Final Report, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to file final report in Crime No.12 of 2019. 2.This Court has already allowed the Criminal Original Petition, by order dated 21.12.2020 and directed the first respondent to file final report in Crime No.12 of 2019, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Now the Court below requests further time of six months to dispose of the said case.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned first respondent, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, six months time is granted from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for filing final report in Crime No.12 of 2019.
