ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

2. The petitioner is a successful bidder for parking of two wheelers in the year 2017. He was awarded a contract for a period of three years and it was extended in 2021 pursuant to a notice, dated 23.11.2020. Thereafter, once again for the period between 2024-25, it is informed a notification issued on 10.09.2024 for fresh auction. However, it was cancelled on 25.10.2024 on account of the proposed construction of Raja Vaaikkal (Water body).

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that now the said Rakavaaikal has been completely restored and the construction is over. Therefore, he sent a representation, dated 28.06.2025 with a request to re-auction the rights.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation, dated 28.06.2025 will be considered and disposed of 2/4

on merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.06.2025 and dispose the same on merits the within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In case, tin sheet put up by the petitioner is exist, the same shall not be disturbed.
