This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 04.09.2019 at 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in the festival of Arulmighu Sri Vetri Vinayagar Thirukovil at Paalayoor, Kandanoor Post, Sivagangai District.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the seeking police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.18530 of 2019 protection to conduct the Adal Padal Dance Programme on 04.09.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 10.08.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.08.2019 has already been considered and permission has been granted to the petitioner to conduct programme.
5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication is required in this petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
