ORDER
This civil revision petition is filed for a direction to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Ramanathapuarm, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.256 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible.
2.According to the petitioner/Defendant, the respondents/plaintiffs filed a suit in O.S.No.256 of 2021 before the Subordinate Court, Ramanathapuarm, for declaration and permanent injunction. It is further stated that the petitioner is 69 years old and also suffering from diabetes and age old disease, have to see the fruits of the decree in his life time and hence, he seeks for speedy disposal of the suit. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
4.On perusal of the records, it is seen that written statement was filed on 25.03.2022 and even after a lapse of two years, trial has not been commenced.
5.Therefore, this Court directs the learned Subordinate Judge, Ramanathapuarm, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.256 of 2021, on merits and 2/4
in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without any unnecessary adjournment, after affording sufficient opportunities to the parties concerned to put-forth their contentions, within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
