PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to undertake all necessary and imminent measures to improve the storage level of the Vaigai Dam on a war footing basis reckoning the scorching sun and parching land in order to improve the water supply to common man farmers and cattle by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2016.

ORDER

(The order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to undertake all necessary and imminent measures to improve the storage level of the Vaigai Dam on a war footing basis reckoning the scorching sun and parching land in order to improve the water supply to common man, farmers and cattle, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 17.02.2016. 2.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.K.K.Ramesh, who appeared as party in person seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Permission is granted to withdraw the writ petition. 3.In view the endorsement made by the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
