Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to rectify the mistakes in revenue records and issue joint patta in favour of the petitioner (Musira Banu) and her daughter Karima Qureshi with respect to the land in Natham S.No.399/4 to an extent of 7.63 cents in Thiruppalaikudi Village, R.S.Mangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 08.10.2025 and remainder representations, dated 18.04.2025 and 02.05.2025.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to rectify the mistakes in the revenue records pertains to the property situated in S.No.399/4 to an extent of 7.63 cents in Thiruppalaikudi Village, R.S.Mangalam Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and issue joint patta in favour of the petitioner and her daughter Karima Qureshi by considering the petitioner's representation 02.05.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Vashik Ali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, the subject property originally belongs to her husband namely Amir Khan and after his death, the property devolves upon petitioner and her daughter Karima Qureshi. However, the revenue documents got mutated in favour of one Khadija
Beevi, who has no right over the subject property. It is also stated said Khadija Beevi is no more. Hence, the petitioner submitted series of representation before the respondents seeking rectification of revenue records and issuance of joint patta in the name of petitioner and her daughter. The last of the representation was submitted on 02.05.2025 and the same has not been considered and hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
3.The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner is already under consideration of the second respondent.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the legal heirs of the Khadija Beevi.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
