This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct Aadalum Paadalum dance programme on 31.08.2019 from 7.00 p.m., to 12.00 p.m., in pursuant to the Avani Festival of Sri Nadiyamman Kovil, situated at Alangudi Village and Taluk in Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal Dance programme on 31.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 16.08.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith, by imposing necessary conditions.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
