ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent nos.1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenue namely Uma Maheshwari, D/o.Pandi, aged about 19 years, from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is the father of the detenue, who is aged about 19 years. On enquiry, it was found that the detenue had eloped along with the third respondent and a 'Woman Missing' F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.439 of 2019 and the same is pending investigation.

3. Taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances of the case, there will be a direction to the second respondent to continue with the investigation in accordance with law as per the guidelines given in the case of K.Sukumari vs. the Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar District and others reported in 2018 2 L.W. (Criminal) 636 and complete the investigation as expediously as possible.

4. This Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of, accordingly.
