ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining of wilful disobedience of the order, dated 27.07.2023, in W.P(MD)No.2481 of 2022 by the respondent.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the Hon'ble Supreme Court was pleased to pass an order of stay on 01.08.2025 in Petition for Special Leave to Appeal No.18669 of 2025 and ordered to post the matter after six weeks.

3.Recording the same, this Contempt Petition stands closed. 4.However, Sub Application(MD)No.319 of 2025 was filed by the petitioners, seeking an interim direction from the respondent to pay the arrears of salary as well as salary regularly. For which, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that they are bound to pay the salary as a contract employee and they will continue to pay the same and the arrears, if any will be duly paid.
