When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the patta issued in favour of third party has been cancelled and in this regard, he has produced a copy of the proceedings of the Sub Collector, Cheranmahadevi, dated 01.02.2021 before this Court for perusal, wherein, it had been stated that the appeal filed by the petitioner herein has been allowed and therefore, he would submit that the prayer sought in this writ petition has been answered in favour of the petitioner. 2.In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication by this Court and therefore, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
