RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to pass an order to extend the time which has been granted to the petitioner by an order of this Hon`ble Court dated 22.03.2021 made in Crl.M.P.(MD) No. 2067 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10693 of 2020 while releasing him on Anticipatory Bail in connection with Crime No.05 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thiruverambur Police Station, Trichy District forthwith.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SANKARA PANDIAN J, Advocate for the petitioner and M/S.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time which has been granted to the petitioner by an order of this Court dated 22.03.2021 in Crl.M.P(MD) No.2067 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10693 of 2020 dated 22.03.2021.

2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 02.11.2020 and after a period of three months, he has moved a petition for extension of time in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.2067 of 2021. This Court, vide order 22.03.2021, granted further time of two weeks. Even thereafter, the petitioner has not executed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sureties and he filed this application for further extension of time by stating that due to the election, the petitioner could not able to contact the officials for getting surety certificate and thereafter, the petitioner was also suffered with COVID-19. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail, if so advised.
