ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent police 1 to 3 to take action on the petitioners complaint dated 25.02.2026 and conduct a proper enquiry on the petitioner complaint within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and his family are excommunicated from participating in the Vinayar temple at Devipattinam village and they were also asked to pay a sum of Rs.40,000/- as temple tax. Despite the petitioner having paid the same, the excommunication still persist.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that so far no complaint has been has been received from the petitioner.
4. Heard either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner is directed to further give a fresh complaint before the respondent police and on receipt of the same, put notice on the petitioner as well as the proposed accused and ensure that the petitioner and his family participates in the temple festival of Vinayagar temple at Devipattinam and they should be permitted to continue worshipping the said temple everyday in the day to day manner.
