Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to grant patta for the land in S.No.544/11 and to grant joint patta for the land in S.No.544/102 ad-measuring 84 cents and 10 cents respective situated at Akilandapuram Village, Kayathar Taluk, Tuticorin District to the petitioner based on the petitioner's on line representation dated 27.07.2019.

ORDER
The prayer sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to grant patta for the land in Survey Nos.544/11 and 544/102 ad-measuring 84 cents and 10 cents respectively, situated at Akilandapuram Village, Kayathar Taluk, Tuticorin District to the petitioner, based on the petitioner's on line representation, dated 27.07.2019.
2.Heard Mr.T.Selvan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and MrB.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.In respect of the land at Survey Nos.544/11 and 544/102 admeasuring 84 cents and 10 cents respectively, situated at Akilandapuram Village, Kayathar Taluk, Tuticorin District, the petitioner has given a representation on 26.09.2017 to the respondent to issue patta by deleting the name of the vendors of the petitioner and therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.18731 of 2019 petitioner is directed to be decided by the respondent, within a time, on merits, the petitioner would be satisfied. 5.I have heard MrB.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner would be decided on merits and in accordance with law by the respondent, within a time frame and order would be passed thereon.
6.In view of the innocuous prayer sought for herein, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.07.2019 on merits and in accordance with law and incase, necessity arises, the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, can also be heard. Accordingly, final order shall be passed by the respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
