Heard both sides.

2.The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the Theloor Periya Kanmoi was breached by the local villagers illegally. The bund was broken. Seeking repair of the same, the petitioner moved the authorities. Since no action was taken on his representation, this writ petition came to be filed. 3.When the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Government Advocate on written instructions from the Assistant Engineer, Water Resources Department, Thondi submitted that the breach created in the 2/4

bund has since been repaired. Copy of the written instructions has also been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.Recording the stand of the respondents that the petitioner's grievance has been taken care, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
