ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the 1st respondent, dated 11.12.2020 and to direct the 1st respondent to grant permission and protection to conduct Kodai Festival on 25.01.2021 to 27.01.2021 in Arulmigu Sri Muppidathi Amman Thirukovil, Aathiyadi Valaivu Street, Brahmadesam Village, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that there was law and order problem while the petitioner was conducting the festival last year. Hence, the first respondent rejected the request of the petitioner.
4. The first respondent police is directed to conduct a peace committee meeting by giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the second respondent in the light of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.24777 of 2019, dated 18.12.2019. It is open to the first respondent to stipulate appropriate conditions for ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. The petitioner would abide by the conditions which the first respondent may stipulate.
