ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner's brother Rathinavelpandiyan passed away on 21.06.2019. The fourth respondent has issued the death certificate. In the death certificate, Vasantha has been mentioned as the wife of the deceased.

3.According to the petitioner, the deceased died a bachelor. The petitioner therefore wants enquiry to be conducted and a revised death certificate issued. In other words, the petitioner wants the name of Vasantha to be deleted.

4.The petitioner is permitted to file a fresh application before the second respondent. As and when the same is received, the second 2/4

respondent will conduct enquiry, issue notices to the interested persons and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months thereafter.

5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
