O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey of the land in S.No.266/1A in Peikulam Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his application dated 21.04.2025.

2. Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased larger extent of property in the subject survey number under a sale deed dated 23.09.2015 from one Rajeshwari. Since a portion of the said property was already sold, patta was issued to the petitioner only for the lesser extent viz., 20.19 ares in new sub-division No.266/1A in new patta No. 7338. The petitioner submitted an application on 21.04.2025 in Application No.2025/0123/27/005431, seeking survey of the property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner 2/4

will be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
