herein to consider petitioner's representation, dated 27.05.2025, and to acquire survey No.931/3D land in Patta No.1371 measuring 1 Acre and 35 Cents situated in Sirukkulam Village, Sattur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, and to pay adequate compensation in accordance with law. For Petitioner :

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation, dated 27.05.2025, requesting to acquire his land situated in Survey No.931/3D in Patta No.1371, measuring 1 Acre and 35 Cents, at Sirukkulam Village, Sattur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, which is affected by water spread area of the newly built Vaippar Dam.

2. According to the petitioner, in view of the inundation, he is unable to cultivate his land. Therefore, he submitted a representation before the first respondent on 27.05.2025, seeking acquisition of his land and payment of compensation. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.

3. Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.05.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 07.07.2025 NCC :
