ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition, seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to correct the petitioner's name as Muthukaruppan instead of Muthukathan in the computer patta No.695 of his property bearing Survey Nos.305/11C and 305/4C situated at Kodiyalam Village, Srirangam Taluk, 1/3
Thiruchirapalli District and issue new computer patta to the petitioner.
2. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the property comprised in Survey Nos.305/11C and 305/4C in Patta No.695 situated at Kodiyalam Village, Srirangam Taluk, Thiruchirapalli District is in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner. In old patta pass book the petitioner's name and his father's name are correctly stated. But in the computer patta in Patta No.695 the name of the petitioner was wrongly mentioned as Muthukathan instead of Muthukaruppan. In order to rectify the said error, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 02.11.2020 and also paid necessary fees. However, the same has not been considered so far. In such circumstances, the petitioner has approached this Court.

This Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents, more particularly, the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2020 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediments to do so.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
