ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner states that the petition mentioned land is his patta land. Since road is proposed to be laid thereon, he has submitted a representation stating that his patta land should be spared.

3. It is well settled that on a patta land, road cannot be laid by the public authorities. If they want to do so, they have to do it in the manner known to law.

4. Be that as it may, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned representation and pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
