ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to dispose of the application in I.A.No.380 of 2018 in R.C.O.P.No.185 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif (Rent Controller), Madurai Town, within the stipulated time.

2.The R.C.O.P.has been filed by the petitioner / landlord to vacate the respondent / tenant from the building in question. Since the respondent / tenant has not paid rent from April 2017, the application in I.A.No.380 of 2018 has been filed by the petitioner/ landlord to pay the rent from April 2017 to till the respondent hand over the premises. Since the said I.A.No.380 of 2018 is pending for more than one year, the petitioner is before this Court to dispose of the said application within a time frame.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that both the IA and RCOP is pending before the learned District Munsif (Rent Controller), Madurai Town for more than one year.

5.Therefore, this Court directs the learned District Munsif (Rent Controller), Madurai Town to dispose of the application in I.A.No.380 of 2018 within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the District Munsif shall dispose of R.C.O.P.No.185 of 2018 and O.S.No.616 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 3 months. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C.R.P.(MD)No.1616 of 2019 6.The Civil Revision petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
