ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner by cancelling the wrong classification in the manner known to law in the light of the representation of the Petitioner dated 04.02.2019, 06.05.2019, 17.06.2019 and 04.07.2019 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.P.Sivachandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner, in order to get separate patta in respect of the land in S.No.1591/2 to the extent of 2.04 cents situated at Itkadai Chathirapatti, Veerapandi village, Theni Taluk and Distirct, has given a representation to the 1st respondent on 04.07.2019. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.18882 of 2019 that, if the said representation is decided on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2019 would be considered by the 1st respondent and orders would be passed thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction: "The 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, if need be, after hearing the petitioner and rival claimants, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
