ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue a new TSLR by mentioning the name of the petitioner in the place of petitioner's predecessor-in-title in respect of Survey Field No.104 situated in Block No.49, Aasath Street, Ward No.1, Meenakshi Nagar, Madurai Corporation, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai, by processing his application in Application No.2025/0153/24/004554, dated 19.05.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.A.Sheik Nasurdeen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased

by him under a registered sale deed dated 17.10.2023 from one Samsu Nihar. The vendor of the petitioner got the property under the settlement deed executed by her mother, Saharbanu, W/o.Ibrahim. The TSLR for the subject property stands in the names of four persons including the names of Saharbanu and her husband Ibrahim. Since the petitioner purchased the property of Saharbanu and her husband Ibrahim from their daughter, he has submitted the instant representation seeking inclusion of his name in the place of predecessor-in-title. The same has not been considered. Hence, she has come before this Court. 4.It is not in dispute that the TSLR for the subject property stands in the names of four persons, including the petitioner's predecessor-intitle, namely, Ibrahim and Saharbanu.

The petitioner claims that he has purchased the interest of the said persons under a registered document and submitted an application for mutation of the TSLR on 19.05.2025, on the strength of the registered documents. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.05.2025 in Application No.

receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
