O R D E R

This writ petition seeks a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 04.05.2023, 10.05.2023, 29.05.2023 and 09.06.2023 requesting that a detailed inquiry 2/6

be conducted and patta be issued and consequently, to direct the sixth and seventh respondents to provide protection to the petitioner's life, limb and his property.

2. Alleging that certain persons continuously causing disturbances and damage to the petitioner's property, the petitioner submitted several representations to the respondents seeking protection for himself and his property. Despite the submission of these representations, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by such inaction, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2023 will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of 3/6

receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry, affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. In the event of any issues pertaining to land disputes, the parties shall approach the competent civil court. No costs.
