O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.449/fh.J.rpt.c.nfh/2019 dated 11.08.2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent as illegal and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to grant permission to conduct Street Corner Meeting with regard to revamp the water bodies in Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District before the rainy season on 12.08.2019 1/3
(or) any other date at 04.00 p.m. to 06.00 p.m. venue at Theradi Thidal, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that for the past so many years, water bodies in their area did not renovate properly by the concerned authorities. Though, they have sent so many representations to the concerned authorities to renovate the water bodies, they did not take action. Therefore, they have decided to conduct a Street Corner Meeting on 12.08.2019 and also sought permission before the 3rd respondent. However, it was rejected mechanically without any proper reasons vide order dated 11.08.2019 by the 2nd respondent. Therefore, the petitioner approached this Court quash the said order.
Now, the learned counsel would submit that they are ready and willing to give another representation before the 2nd respondent and they sought direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the same and pass orders. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that if the petitioner seeks fresh permission with some other dates, it will be considered by the concerned authorities, within a time frame. 4.
"The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent seeking permission to conduct Street Corner Meeting immediately and on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass order thereon, within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt of such representation."
5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
