Prayer: Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the UDR entries and sub divisions made in the name of the 5th respondent and his alleged heirs / respondents 6 to 9 and to restore the Patta and revenue records in favour of the petitioner and other legal heirs of Late.Palaniyandi in respect of the lands in S.No. 804/2, 803 and 764/3 situated at Jadamangalam Village, Musiri Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2025, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to cancel the UDR entries and subdivisions made in the name of the fifth respondent and his legal heirs, namely, respondents 6 to 9, and to restore the patta in the revenue records in favour of the petitioner and the other legal heirs of late Palaniyandi.

2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent/District Revenue Officer to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2025, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as respondents 5 to 9, and pass appropriate 2/4

orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
