ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to cancel the Patta No.1778 issued in the name of the third parties and issue Patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.7/4 to an extent of 97 Cents situated at Ilayathankudi North Village, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by him under a registered Sale Deed dated 26.03.1960 from Vinaitheertha Aasari. Recently, the petitioner acquired knowledge about mutation of revenue records and issuance of UDR patta in favour of the third parties. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 11.06.2025 before 2/6
the official respondents seeking cancellation of Patta No.1778 issued in favour of the third parties and issuance of Patta in the name of the petitioner. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent/The DRO, Sivagamgai, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, existing Patta holder in Patta No.1778 and other interested parties.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
