ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner suffered an adverse order at the hands of the Sub Collector, Pudukottai on 23.02.2004. Questioning the same, the petitioner filed a revision before the District Revenue Officer, Pudukottai after a lapse of 15 years. Since the revision was filed after a long period, it was dismissed. Questioning the same, this writ petition came to be filed.

3. I cannot fault the approach adopted by the first respondent. It is well settled that any entry made in the revenue record is not decisive of one's title. It is always open to the writ petitioner to move the jurisdictional civil Court and claim appropriate relief.

4. With this liberty to the writ petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
