PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to call for the records pertaining to the case in C.C.No.225/2025, on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti and quash the same as illegal, as far as the petitioners concerned. ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in C.C.No.225 of 2025, on the file of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein the petitioners are charged with the offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 324(4), 351(2) BNS r/w section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.

2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. Today, the defacto complainant is present in-person and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

4. Considering the above said facts, charge sheet in C.C.No.225 of 2025, on the file of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti, is hereby quashed.
