PRAYER :- To issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 grant permission and protection to conduct yearly temple festival schedule on 14.07.2026 to 16.07.2026 for Sri Kaliamman, Sri Bagavathi Amman and it is sub deities namely Sri Muthalamman and Muniyappan temple is situate at Aariyanallur Village, Munnilaikkottai, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2026. For Petitioner : Mr. A. Aruljenifer, Advocate.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to grant permission and protection to conduct yearly temple festival scheduled to be held from 14.07.2026 to 16.07.2026 for Sri Kaliamman, Sri Bagavathi Amman and its sub deities namely Sri Muthalamman and Muniyappan temple is situate at 2/6

Aariyanallur Village, Munnilaikkottai, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the private respondents are causing trouble in conducting the temple festival properly.

3. However, the learned counsel appearing for the private respondents submitted that they have no objection for the petitioner to conduct the temple festival. However, they should be permitted without any hindrance to participate in all the formalities related to the temple festival.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the 2nd and 4th respondents submitted that already notice has been issued to both the parties and the peace committee is awaited.

5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st and 3rd respondents submitted that on the requisition of the respondent police 3/6

made on 10.06.2026, the fourth respondent had taken efforts to conduct peace committee meeting.

6. In this regard, the fourth respondent is directed to convene a peace committee meeting on or before 29.06.2026 and conclude the same and facilitate either parties from peacefully conducting the temple festival as required by the petitioner. The petitioner should not prevent any person from attending the temple festival, including the respondents.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 22.06.2026 NCC : yes / no Index : yes / no Note : Issue order copy on 24.06.2026 pnn 4/6
