ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 1/4

528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the learned Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level) No.1, Madurai to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider the petitioner's warrant application on the date of surrender itself in S.T.C.No.358 of 2015.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that Non-Bailable Warrant is pending against the petitioner from 14.11.2017.

3. The petitioner has sought for permission to surrender before the concerned Court, but there is absolutely no bar or prohibition to surrender before the Court. Hence, this Court is constrained to say that the present petition has been filed abusing the process of the Court.

4. Considering the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
