O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to provide Annathanam on 11.04.2016 at Bathrakaliamman Temple, Kottakudi Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

2. The case of the petitioner that they want to conduct Annathanam on 11.04.2016 at Bathrakaliamman Temple, Kottakudi Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, Madurai in connection with Kumbabiseham for the temple on 11.04.2016.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that on the instructions of the returning Officer, the police are not able to accord permission.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give a representation in person to the returning officer, Melur constituency seeking permission and on such representation being made, the same shall be expeditiously disposed of in accordance with law.

5. with the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
