This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to cancel the registered documents, which was registered on the file of the third respondent, based on representation, dated 26.08.2021.

2.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.In the considered view of this Court, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. Only the District Registrar is vested with the jurisdiction to cancel the document. The representation of the petitioner, dated 26.08.2021 has not been made to the competent Authority and it is made to the respondents, who do not have the jurisdiction to cancel the registered document. Hence, the petitioner has to necessarily make an application before the District 2/4
