By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. According to the petitioner, he is working as Food Safety Officer in Namakkal Urban from the year 2011. Due to his personal reasons, he sought for transfer to nearby region. According to him, there are vacancies at Kodaikanal, Coimbatore, Salem Corporation. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 12.10.2015 to consider his case of transfer and also sent a remainder to the first respondent on 12.03.2016. As there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
