The petitioner claims that he has purchased the property in Survey Nos. 40/3A1 Plot No.23, to an extent of 2975 sq.ft Ramankulam Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai through a registered Document No.850/2010, on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Madurai North, dated 03.03.2010. The petitioner has applied for issuance of patta for the aforesaid land before the third respondent. With a grievance that his application dated 22.03.2023 has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 2.Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submits that the land in S.No.40/3A1Ramankulam Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai is an 'undefined' land having double entries and therefore, the application of the petitioner has not been decided so far. 2/5

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with a direction to the respondents to take a decision on the petitioner's representation, dated 22.03.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, if the petitioner's application has been rejected by the respondents, the petitioner is having an appeal remedy before the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned and he shall work out his remedy accordingly. 4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
