ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents the Non Traceable certificate based on petitioners complaint dated 23.03.2026 vide reference number OLC082600005279 by concluding the enquiry within the stipulated time limited as prescribed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's Original sale deed in Document No. 1120/1994 was misplaced and lost, for which the petitioner had given a online complaint on 23.03.2026. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that eventhough the petitioner has sent a complaint through online, he has neither appeared for enquiry nor produced any documents to substantiate his claim. Therefore, enquiry was closed on the petitioner's representation.

4. Learned Government Advocate further submitted that the Director General of Police had already issued Circular Memorandum, dated 01.04.2022 in this regard with respect to issuance of NOC, where the applicants have to produce certain documents. On such production of the documents, the respondent police will take necessary steps.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

6. The petitioner has given a complaint for issuance of nontraceable certificate on 23.03.2026. The petitioner is further directed to produce all the necessary documents as required by the respondent police in terms of the Circular Memorandum, which is extracted below: 3/12

6. On production of the above said documents as required in the Circular Memorandum extracted supra, the 2nd respondent police is directed to take necessary steps for issuance of Non Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with respect to the Original sale deed in Document No. 1120/1994 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Radhapuram Taluk,, Tirunelveli District, by considering the representation dated 23.03.2026.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. 19.06.2026 NCC : yes / no Index : yes / no pnn 10/12
