O R D E R
The prayer sought for in this Writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2019 and provide Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to him.
2.Heard S.M.A.Jinnah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner, in order to seek compensation for the injuries sustained by him due to road accident, seems to have made a representation to the respondents on 05.07.2019 and in this regard, if the said representation is considered and decided on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied, the learned counsel for the petitioner contended.
4.Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2019 would be considered and orders thereon would be passed on merits, within a time frame by the first respondent.
5.Considering the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for herein, this Writ petition is disposed of with the consent of both sides at the admission stage itself with the following direction: That the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2019 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With this direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
