ORDER

The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.331 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent Police. The said case was registered for the offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 303(2) of BNS and Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(a) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Therefore the petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the Special Court concerned to dispose of his bail application on the date of surrender. 2.Considering the submissions made on either side this court appointed Mr.C.Mayilvahana Rajendran, learned counsel who is having rich experience, as Mediator in this case. 2/4

3.It is reported that based on the efforts of the learned Mediator, the matter has been settled. Placing appreciation to the learned Mediator, learned counsel for the petitioner and the third respondent, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police not to arrest the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to file a petition to quash the proceedings pending against him in Crime No.331 of 2025.
