ORDER

This petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to reinstate the petitioner into service and permit him to join duty on the basis of his representations dated 09.09.2021 and 30.09.2021 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, while he was working as Supervisor,the respondent has directed him to pay a sum of Rs.6,24,155/-by an order dated 19.12.2018 in Na.Ka.No.283/2007/R.V.- 4 on the ground that he has caused monetary loss to the respondent corporation by not remitting the sales amount into the Bank Account. The petitioner deposited the said amount on 04.08.2021 and 07.09.2021 to the respondent bank and the receipts are also enclosed in the typed set of papers along with the Writ Petition. The respondent though not passed any suspension order, has orally instructed the petitioner not to attend duty. W.P(MD)No.18364 of 2021 the respondent to reinstate him into service and permit him to join duty. So far, the respondent has not considered his representations and allowed the petitioner to join duty.

3. According to the petitioner, though he has paid totally a sum of Rs. 7,49,155/- to the respondent, the respondent has not reinstated the petitioner into service. Hence he wants the court to issue a direction to the respondent corporation to reinstate the petitioner into service.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation would submit that the petitioner's request will be considered and appropriate decision will be taken by the authority within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties concerned, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider and take appropriate decision in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 09.09.2020 and 30.09.2021 and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
