ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed for a direction to direct the SubCourt Judge, Devakottai, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.46 of 2014, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, he filed a suit in O.S.No.46 of 2014 before the Sub-Court, Devakottai, for the relief of partition against the respondents. Till date, the said suit is pending without any progress. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is aged about 64 years and the said suit is pending for more than 9 years. It is further submitted that since there is no presiding officer in the above Court, the matter was adjourned periodically. Now, Judicial Officer is posted in the said Court and therefore, a direction is required for early disposal of the above suit.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the age of the petitioner, this Court directs the learned Subordinate Judge, Devakottai, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.46 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without any further delay, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a 2/4

copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
