PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.18 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. 1/3

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A1, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420 and 120B of IPC, in Crime No.18 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused, by giving false promise to secure employment, received a sum of Rs.26,45,000/- from the de-facto complainant and others. Later, cheated them. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent persons and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that this Court has granted anticipatory bail to the co-accused in Crl.O.P(MD).No.8388 of 2023 dated 09.06.2023.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has introduced all the victims to the accused Nos. 3 and 4.

5. Taking into consideration of the allegations and also considering the involvement of the petitioner in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
